Villa Tommasi-Aliotti stands
at the centre of a charming park accessed through an imposing
central tree-lined footpath that divides the estate into
two different parts. The footpath also leads to the northern
part of the estate where the pool is located.
Worth seeing in the park:
- the greenhouse-lemonhouse adjoining the villa dating
back to the late 18th century.
- The family chapel built in 1771 on designs by Pietro
Materno Speroni.
Walks and footpaths lead to hidden and charming spots
featuring ancient architectural elements such as grottoes,
fountains and wells as well as sculptures. The whole
area features several age-old trees (giant sequoia,
cedar of lebanon, greek fir, etc.) and more common local
trees such as pine-trees, cypresses, holm-oaks, etc.
